Versascribe VL Laser Marker
Overview
With the increasing demand from the medical, semi-conductor and automotive
industries for high throughput processing, the VersaScribe VL is the next
generation in laser marking technology.
The VersaScribe VL is Alase Technologies' latest offering featuring Vanadate
technology for high-speed laser engraving and etching. The VersaScribe
VL delivers precision and quality to product identification and material
processing.
Features
The VersaScribe VL features diode pumped vanadate technology, Nd:YVO4,
that combines high peak power with high rep rate q-switching capabilities.
These advancements allow for optimal power density at the work surface
and therefore increased marking speed and throughput.
The air-cooled, compact design of the VersaScribe VL allows for integration
to any system or assembly. The system features a fiber delivered beam
that minimizes the overall footprint and achieves complete flexibility
in laser orientation.

- Air-cooled, no external water and/or chiller required
- Low maintenance, no consumables

- Q-switch operation up to 200 kHz for optimal marking flexibility

Benefits
Applications such as surface annealing ("black staining") and
etching on stainless steel, titanium and nitinal medical and automotive
components have seen dramatic increases in marking speed and throughput.
By combining high peak pulsing with high frequency rate, the VersaScribe
VL can supply higher energy pulses quicker. This enables the scanning
speed to increase and deliver faster mark times in certain applications
than traditional flashlamp and diode pumped lasers.
